Children and entitlement
How can it be that our very young children believe they are entitled to everything? Parenting is not like it used to be. We used to have to work very hard with grades and chores to get anything. We used to save for what we needed or had. I think their was more appreciation when you bought or received something new. It is sad that society is letting it get so bad that people walk around clueless and do not want to work. The government is also responsible for this sense of entitlement. They give free healthcare and checks to people who don't deserve it. We need young people to realize the only way to make it in this world is to study and work hard for what we need and want.

So many youth of this era and people today feel entitled to many things without working for them. In my opinion, society has enabled this to happen.
ReplyDeleteYou have good points now days parents take they kids to get anything they want no matter the price even it will put them in debt. It seem too many parents trying to be they kid friend instead of their parent. The biggest factor however is babies having babies, I know kids 13 and 14 years old have a baby, almost like they'll grow up in the same generation.

ReplyDeleteYou hit that one right on the head. The government has to take responsibility for just handing out checks and letting people who are capable of working just sit around and do nothing. HOT MESS!!!
